FAQ

"When we first approached Smallwood and told them what we wanted to do, which was a fairly major remodel, they sat down with us and asked us what it was we wanted out of the project.  They came back to us a short time afterward with a notebook that basically laid out the entire project.  It spelled out graphically, numerically and in text exactly what they planned to do.  That was how we were sure that they were meeting expectations.  They could point to that notebook and say ‘this is what you asked for’ and they could point to what they had done and say ‘this is what we’ve done for you’."

How much will our project cost?

Simply put, the cost will be the total of necessary trades, material costs, and labor required to put it all together. We'll go thru these with you item by item, step by step before you commit a dime. What it won't cost you is a lack of value for the financial investment you are going to make or the anxiousness that could be associated with not knowing.

How long will our project take?

That depends on size, site conditions and design criteria. The important thing is you will know before we start, and you will have a schedule in hand that that lets you know when the various building stages begin and end.

Who will be working on our project?

A team you will know before we break ground. As we work with your architect to get the most value for your investment, you will become familiar with the faces and voices that greet you on visits to our office or answer your calls. Though Rob stays connected throughout all projects, you will find comfort in knowing that experienced project managers, trades people and staff all share your expectations of quality accountability and schedules.

How can I get specific answers to these and other project questions?
